Description
Pick up from your hotel in Beijing around 8:30am. First visit Ming Dynasty City Wall Relics, a park being built on the one-kilometer-long ruins of ancient Beijing city walls, it was open to the public in May 2002. Then move to explore Beijing Underground City, a relic of the Sino-Soviet border conflict in 1969 over Zhenbao Island in northeast China's
Heilongjiang River, a time when chairman Mao Zedong ordered the construction of subterranean bomb shelters in case of nuclear attack. Next move on to the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall. It is designed to introduce the long history of the immortal city of Beijing, display the great achievements of the modern urban planning and development, and exhibit the splendid future of Beijing's urban development. The 16,000 square-meter floor space is distributed on 4 floor levels in the Hall, with 8,000 square meters for exhibits. Then passing by Zhengyangmen, the main gate in the center of the southern wall. The gate-tower and the arrow tower are still extant. It is popularly known as Qianmen, the "front gate," because it is situated directly in front of the Imperial City and the Forbidden City. Then proceed to visit Dashilan Street, the oldest commercial street in Beijing, is now more packed than ever in the Qianmen area. After lunch, go to visit Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum, the first special museum in China focused on collecting, researching and displaying of China ancient architecture technologies, art and its development history.
After the tour, Return to your hotel around 4:00pm.

On the evening before your departure early next morning, you will get a call to your hotel room or a message at your hotel front counter by your tour guide to reconfirm your next morning's pickup time which is normally set around 8:00 am.
On the morning of your tour departure date, our tour guide will go to your hotel ahead of your pick-up time in the lobby, holding a sign with your name. When you come down to the hotel lobby, just look around for the sign to meet our tour guide.
You will have the narratives of local history and culture by your tour guide while you are comfortably sitting in the air-conditioned vehicle of your exclusive use and enjoying the views passing by.
