How many passengers can 1 taxi carry please?
Basiaclly, one standard taxi ( car type ) can carry 4 passengers ( one by the taxi driver and three on the rear seat ).
Visited Hangzhou recently and could not fetch a taxi near the railway station. All drivers drove away when I tried to stop them, while they happily accepted chinese customers. Any idea what was the reason for that strange behavior? regards, christian

It looks very strange in your case. First time for me to learn about this situation. The only possible reason, as I understand, is that maybe you were not in the right place to hail a taxi. In Hangzhou, in peak hours, it is really difficult to fetch a taxi. It is advisable to learn how to use the express bus system in Hangzhou, which is quite convenient. Not sure if a taxi driver would like to take the business and have no idea on the taxi rates involved. You may reserve a car or van through your hotel or local travel agency for a return trip to Jinxiu Fengshuidong 锦绣风水洞.
