History: Kunming has a long history and splendid culture. It is one of the first batch of 24 historical and cultural cities announced by the State Council. In the third century BC (before the era from 298 to 277 years), a Chu general, Zhuang Qiao, mobilize people into Yunnan and arrived in Dianchi Lake area.
