| The museum was set up on February 28,2003 directly under the Cultural Ministry.Founded ont the former History Museum of China and Revolutonary Museum of China.it is a comprebensive museum centering on history and arts with the purpose of displaying Chinese People抯 time-honored culture and history systemically.
