Fangshan District is located in the east of Beijing covers a total of about 1,866 square kilometers. This district is composed of 60% mountainous area with many rivers. It is 50 kilometers from the city proper. It has rich natural resources and indigenous products like snow-white marble, chestnuts,persimmons,Beijing white pears etc. Fangshan district has a long history with many ancient sites. The most famous one is Zhoukoudian, where the 鎻歟king Man Site?is located. The famous Buddhist Temple -- Yunju temple has preserved priceless Buddhist relics, including 鎻漚kyamuni鎶� Bone?and 14,278 stone slabs with sculpted Buddhist sutras. Fangshan also has many noted scenic spots like Shidu鎶� mountains and waters, the featuring Stone flower Cave etc.

Our tour guide picks you up from your hotel. First drive to Yunju Temple, one of the cultural wonders of Western Beijing. And now it's applying for United Nations World Cultural Heritage. The Yunju temple is world-renowned for its 14,000 Buddhist sutras. After travelling the temple, drive back to Zhoukoudian, the most famous site for human remains with the most abundant fossils in the world from the same period, listed as United Nations World Cultural Heritage. After lunch, move on to the featuring Stone flower Cave, one of China's four largest caves and holds a rich collection of formations such as stalactites. Afterwards, transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
