Inner-Mongolia Nightlife
The nightlife in Hohhot is colorful just like any other modern cities, for example, bars, nightclubs and amusement parks provide trendy fun. As an minority rendezvous, its unique ethical charm is more attractive, such as the wonderful Mongolian song and dance shows.
The most thrilling part of all is that you can demonstrate your sportsmanship by joining the locals, taking part in camel race, horse race, wrestling, archery or dance. The folk music and dance performance, as well as the bonfire party are the most romantic entertainment.
If you are a fantast, the grasslands are an ideal place. You can watch the clear night sky in peaceful surrounding free from light and particulate pollution, so you have great visibility.
Club New York is rather large, but could benefit from some more fill in speakers at the back. Play the usual Mongolian dance far, but also a healthy spattering of Mongolian/Tibetan in the background with the usual themes. If packed, no doubt will be an epic night.
The Harbor Café, open from 8am to midnight is a bakery on the ground floor (excellent bread), but upstairs is a cosy coffee shop, pizzeria and restaurant.
For a more relaxing evening you can go to a cinema and watch a movie with the locals: cinemas like Hohhot Dian Ying Gong (Cinema Palace) located at Xincheng West Street, Showroom of Inner Mongolia Film Producer in Xinjian East Street, Hohhot Film Distribution and Projecting Company in Xincheng South Street and Hohhot Railway Workers' Cultural Palace on Xilin North Road.
