Located at the financial trade zone of Lujiazui, new district of Pudong, Jinmao Edifice, one of the landmarks indicating that Shanghai has stepped into the 21st century, is reputed as the “the first in China, the third in the World” to date. It has been obtained many awards both native and oversea.

Designed by S.O.M company of USA, with a floor space of 290,000 square meters and 88 stories for the main body of the building “additional three floors underground”, the edifice has many office rooms, a hotel, a sightseeing hall, etc. It is a high-intellective modern skyscraper with unique design, and luxury upholster.

Shanghai Jinmao EdificeSituated at the 88th floors, the sightseeing hall is the highest one in China at present with a height of 340.1 meters and area of 1520 meters. There are two express lifts moved 9.1meters per second. It just needs 45 seconds to send off the tourists to the sightseeing hall. When you look around through the hall, you can enjoy not only the beautiful scenes of the Huangpu River, but also the unique 27m-diameter and 152m-high atrium of the edifice. The gorgeous sunglow, setting sun, and the phantasmagoric cloud will be taken in glance, so it is highly applauded as the “space-time tunnel” as well as “wonder of the world”.

“Post office in the sky”—the service spot of post office in the 88th floor provides rare stamps to the tourists. In order to make the tourist convenient, the sightseeing hall also offers snacks of different flavors in the entrance of the 1st floor underground.
