Guogeli Street
Guogeli Street ( or Guogelu Dajie ) is one of the two most important commercial and cultural streets in Harbin. It is double the length of
Zhongyang Street. Also with plentiful European style buildings on Zhngyang Street, here you will find many more modern buildings. In
addition, Guogeli Street is much wider and of course longer. If you have a strong legs, I advise you to coninue your walk to Guogeli Street after strolling on Zhongyang Street. At the south end of Zhongyang Street, you come to Jingwei Street and turn left and continue to move on for another 1000 meters, you will melt into Guogeli Street.
Before you get to Guogeli Street, you will come across a century old bridge, which is said to be the only left relic from the ear of Russian domination. The bridge is called Jihong Qiao built in 1926 by a famous Russian architect.
A train is passing under the bridge and the railway station just next door.
I forge head from its north down to the south, a long march!
