Daniel Li,
I am writing to you to thank you very much for our wonderful trip to Xian. The tour that you organised was fantastic. Sorry for the delay in feedback. I thank you for all your prompt and quick replies to our needs and desires for the tour that we took on Feb 10, 2008. You are very professional and provided what we had requested. I enjoyed my tour of Xian - from start to finish. It was most comforting to have my tour guide meet me at the airport. Your tour guide - Ms Mary Ma is exceptional in both her English and her knowledge of her subject. She is to be congratulated.
I have no hesitation in recommending your company to other travellers.
Thank you once again.
Kind regards
Janet Hawke

Located in the southern area of Xi’an, with a distance of 2 kilometers form the City Wall, Small Wild Goose Pagoda is another populate tourist attraction of Xi,an. It stands in Jianfu Temple. It got its name as its smaller size than the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. If the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is compared to a stalwart young man, then the Small Wild Goose is like a delicate, slim girl. The sequestered-surroundings and the daintily scenery made it a popular leisure site for appreciation of cultural relics, sightseeing and entertainment.
There is a huge iron bell traced back to the Jin Dynasty inside Jianfu Temple. There is an interesting story about the bell. It is said that if someone missed his lover far away from him, the just needs to write down their names and addresses on a piece of paper, then the sound of the bell will send the message to them. The sound of the bell is crisp and pleasant and can be heard as far as five kilometers away.
For a long period of years, there even was an experience of “magic healing” of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. In 1487 A.D., there was an earthquake of 6 points in Shaanxi Province. One-foot crack was slited from the top to the bottom of the Pagoda. However, after 34 years, the crack folded overnight in another earthquake. This amazed the local people, so they called it as “magic healing”.
In September 1555, an official named Wanghe stayed in temple on his way home. After he heart the miracle from a monk, he carved the story in the lintel of the Northern gate. However, when renovated the pagoda after 1949, it was found that the healing was not “magic” but “human”. The early builders in accordance with the geo-graphic nature of Xi’an made the founda-tion into the shape of a hemisphere. Therefore, the foundation evenly devided with the stress of the earthquake. Thus, after enduring 70 quakes, the pagoda still stands as firmly as when it was first established. That is the result of the marvelous workmanship of the ancient builder.
Climb up the top of the pagoda, you can get a bird’s eye view of the whole Xi’an City.
