Mao Zedong’s Former Home

Located at 15 Doufuchi Hutong behind the Drum Tower in Dongcheng District, this has two courtyards and is now used for public housing.
In 1918 and 1919, Mao Zedong lived at 8 Ji’ansuo Zuoxiang, Sanyanjing, Jingshan Dpngjie.
Mao Zedong (1893-1976), was from Shaoshan in Xiangtan, Hunan Province, founder of the People’s Republic of China, he was a great politician, philosopher, strategist and poet.
