Day 01

Day 02
Beijing
Then move on to Forbidden City ( 2 hours visit ), also known as the Imperial Palace Museum. The Forbidden City was the seat of Imperial power for 500 years, and is now a major tourist attraction in China.
Exit from the northern gate of Forbidden City, move on to Jingshan Park (40minutes sightseeing ) to have an eye-bird's view of this magnificent complex of Forbidden City. Jingshan Park is full of community activities, especially on Sundays. Visit the place where the last Ming Dynasty Emperor Chongzhen hanged himself.
To avoid the tourist meal, today you have a la carte lunch with an a la carte menu at a nice local Cantonese restaurant, where you could enjoy the authentic Chinese food.
After lunch, move on to Back Lakes (Shichahai Area) (1.5hours sightseeing) behind Beihai Park for Hutong tour. First walk along Houhai Bar Street and then take rickshaw going around the deep Hutong in Shichahai area, visiting an ordinary family in a courtyard. Then ascend the Drum Tower and have a bird's eye view of the old Beijing - Back Lakes Area (Shichahai area).
Tonight you are arranged to see the acrobatics show at Red Theatre. China acrobatics has a long history which can be traced back to Neolithic times. It is learned that acrobatics came from people"s labor and self-defense skills. As the world economy developed, acrobatics was also developed into a kind of performance art. Acrobatics has become a well-known worldwide performing arts.
It is a fantastic experience and spectacular to watch the amazing acrobatics as well as sound and light effects. The acts are very well choreographed and the acrobats are really top class. The show overall is very entertaining. After the show, transferred back to your hotel.

Day 03
Beijing
After Chinese lunch, you are transferred back to the downtown of Beijing and visit Lama Temple (1.5 hour visit). Lama Temple (Yonghegong) is a very important attraction just after Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven in the city center. A former palace of the emperor, subsequently given to the Lamas. A series of beautiful halls and pavilions comprise this Mongolian-Tibetan yellow-sect temple.
Then move on to Nanluoguxiang (1 hour sightseeing). The hutong has a history of over 700 years dating back to Yuan Dynasty in 13th and 14th century. Running from north to south, this lane is about 800 meters long with 16 hutongs - 8 hutongs on each side of the lane. The lane is now famous for the cafes, bars, clothing and handcraft shops that line its hutong laneways as well as its traditional hutong and courtyards (siheyuan).

Day 04
Beijing
Then move on to Qianmen Dajie ( 40 minutes sightseeing). It is one of the last remnants of the business centers of old Beijing. It has been transformed into a modern commercial pedestrian street, the second walking street after Wangfujiang Street in the downtown shopping district Beijing.
Qianmen Street was initially formed in Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). The area is now home to 50 couryards and hutongs listed as state-level heritage sites, as well as 80 famed shops that have been operating for over a century, such as the Liubiju sauce and pickle shop, Tongrentang drugstore, Ruifuxiang silk shop, Neiliansheng shoes store and Zhangyiyuan tea shop.
To avoid the tourist meal, today you have a la carte lunch with an a la carte menu at a nice local Sichuan restaurant, where you could enjoy the authentic Chinese food.
After lunch, continue to visit Summer Palace (2 hours sightseeing), one of China's largest imperial garden. Summer Palace was originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty, Its predecessor was the Garden of Clear Ripples (Qingyiyuan) started in 1750 and burned down by the British and French allied troops in 1860. Then Back to your hotel in Beijing.
