Then move on to Jingshan Park( 40 minutes). Jingshan is just north of the Forbidden City on the central axis of Beijing. First as an imperial garden, it is now a public park, known as Jingshan Park. The 45-metre high man-made hill was built in the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty entirely from the soil dug from the moats of the Imperial Palace and nearby canals.
The last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Chongzhen, committed suicide by hanging himself here in 1644. Jingshan is also famous for its peonies and other flowers like peach. The best time for viewing the more than 200 varieties of peonies inside the park is from late April to mid-May.
After lunch, continue to the Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to your hotel

Day 03
Beijing
After visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall, continue to drive to Lady Lee's courtyard home in Diaowo Village. Driving alongside Huangsongyu Reservoir, you soon enter the picturesque Diaowo Village in Pinggu District of Beijing. The village has 54 households with over 100 villagers. Today you will meet Mrs Li and her husband Mr. Hao in their courtyard home.
A few years ago Mrs. Li retired and left the busy downtown Beijing and relocated to her husband birth place for spending the retirement life. Now she eats the vegetables she plants in her front yard and the Geese & Chickens in her back yard, enjoying an organic living and healthy life. You will have a home lunch made by Lady Li. Lady Li speaks some English, so this will be helpful to your mutual communication.
Saying good-bye to Lady Li, move on to Peach Orchards in Pinggu ( 1.5 hours ). Pinggu is home to the world's largest peach orchards with about 20,000 hectares of peach trees. Ypu will drive along the famous peach blossom sea road and stop to take pictures of the "sea of peach blossoms". Normally the peach trees blossom in the mid April. Back to your hotel after the spring excursion.

Day 04
Beijing
Head to the Olympic Green to have an outside look at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube ( 40 minutes ).
After lunch, visit Lama Temple ( 1 hour ), also called the Yonghe Lamasery, or Yonghegong. It is the most handsome and impressive Buddhist temple in the city. Lama Temple was built in the 33 Qing Kangxi year (1694) and it is now the largest and best-preserved Lamasery of Yellow Sect in Beijing.
Then walk to Confucian Temple and Guozijian Museum ( 1.5 hours ). The two adjoining sites – Confucian Temple and Guozijian (The Imperial College) have coalesced into one museum renamed "Confucian Temple and Imperial College Museum".
Confucian Temple in Beijing is the place where people pay respect to Confucius, which has started since the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Guozijian was once the national central institute of learning in Chinese dynasties in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was the highest institute of learning in China's traditional educational system. While immersed in Chinese culture and traditional etiquette as well as Beijing History.

Day 05
Beijing Exit or free on your own
Two people share one rickshaw. You are not supposed to tip the pedicab driver since the tour cost includes the tip. Walking along the 800-year old Yandai Xiejie ( Tobacco Pipe Lean Street ), and get to the Drum Tower. After lunch in a local Chinese courtyard home, you are either transfered to your hotel or Beijing airpor for your next destination.
