The history of tea began with the legendary discovery by Shennong for its medicinal use. The Eastern Han Dynasty text Shennong Ben Cao Jing (The Divine Farmer's Materia Medica) also records the legend: "Shennong tasted a hundred herbs and encountered seventy-two poisons in a day". Lu Yu, the Sage of Tea in the Tang Dynasty, wrote in his classic work, The Classic of tea: Tea as a beverage originated with Shennong.

Tea drinking became popular nationwide in Tang Dynasty. Lu Yu's Classic of Tea became the world's first monograph on tea. Tea-producing areas expanded. "Tea competitions" became popular, and tea culture thrived in bustling teahouses in Song Dynasty. Chinese tea began spreading via the Silk Road as early as the 5th century. In the 17th century, tea started arriving in Europe on a large scale. Initially regarded as a medicinal drink, it gradually gained popularity.

Taoist Medicine , also known as Taoist medical studies,is a traditional medical system that emerged and developed within Taoist Culture.It is grounded in the philosophical principles of Taoism.

Taoist Medicine views the human body as a microcosm of the universe,emphasizing the regulation of "Essence","Qi"(vital energy), and "Sprit"to enhance one's physical and metal state holistically.

Tea Meditation , By drinking tea and observing the flow of the tea water within the body, thereby enabling more focused thoughts,cultivating inner traqility and awareness,and promoting emotional well-being.

We will conclude the course with a hands-on session, allowing you to experience the entire tea ceremony process firsthand and truly immerse yourselves in Chinese tea culture.

At the end of the tour, you returned to your hotel in Beijing.

On the morning or afternoon of your tour departure date, our tour guide will go to your hotel ahead of your pick-up time in the lobby, holding a sign with your name. When you come down to the hotel lobby, just look around for the sign to meet our tour guide.
