As I recall that a few years ago CNN listed the sunset in Hangzhou West Lake as one of the 12 great sunset sceneries in the world.
There are several places to watch the sunset of West Lake in Hangzhou, including Lakeside Park, Changqiao ( Long Bridge) Park, etc.
This afternoon I walk along the lake from Lakeside Park to Changqiao Park in the southeast corner of the West Lake.
I’d like to see the sunset – Leifeng Pagoda sunset over West Lake in Hangzhou. West Lake in early March is full of birds and flowers.
In Changqiao Park, I was surprised to find that Changqiao park is also a good place for bird watching.
I photographed red billed Blue Magpies. Red billed Blue magpies are common in Xixi Wetland Park, Hangzhou. But still I’m very happy to see the birds in the park.
Note: Hangzhou is my home town, about 3-hour’s drive south of Shanghai, China.
