Beijing Green Yard Organic Dairy Farm is owned and operated by Beijing Green Yard Ecoagriculture Development Co., LTD. Beijing Green Yard Ecoagriculture was established in 1998. It began to work with China Agriculture University in developing organic milk and its production system in September, 2004. On December 27, 2006, Beijing Green Yard Organic Dairy Farm was approved by the government departments concerned and got all the certificates necessary for organic milk production and processing, making it the first organic dairy farm in China. Today Beijing Green Yard Organic Dairy Farm is still the only organic milk producer in Beijing.
Currently there are about 700 cows in the dairy farm with a yearly organic milk output of 3,000 tons and they don’t intend to increase the production scale because they want to maintain the quality of the products. They have full organic certification from the feed, raw milk to the production and processing line.
Beijing Green Yard Organic Dairy Farm produces 6 major organic milk and yogurt products including Pasteurized Organic Milk, Pasteurized Low-Fat Organic Milk, Sugar-Free Organic Yogurt, Organic Yogurt with Sugar, Organic Yogurt with Sugar (Greek Style), Organic Low-Fat Yogurt with Sugar(Greek Style).

Green Yard Organic Dairy Farm is an eco-recycling system. Here cow manure makes biogases, which are used to make electricty. The left-over from biogasses are the organic manure provided to the farmers around to use. Farmers plant organic corns and straws which are fermented as organic feeds for milk cows. All the resources are used circularly within the entire production system. The goal of Green Yard is to reach 100% recycled utilization of resources and 97% water cycle utilization rate.
