I’ve just moved to The Gaoxin district. Wondering if there’s anywhere in Xi’An where I might find plus size clothing… China doesn’t really have people my size as a rule and it’s never been easy to find suitable clothing stores. Mostly I will need to find a good winter jacket in the next few months.

You are right. It is relatively not easy to find plus size clothes in China. But things are not that bad. We do have big people in China. So finding a large size clothes is possible.
You may try your luck at Xian Kanfu Road Wholesale Market 西安康复路批发市场. It is the largest comprehensive market ( including clothing ) in Xian.
Take subway line 1 and get off at the station of Kangfu Road ( 康复路 ).

Persoanlly I don’t think Xian has any peculiarity in terms of chocolates making. No local famous brands of chocolates. Local people prefer imported chocolates.
