I would like to know what the temperature in Lhasa Tibet during the 2nd week of October? what type of clothing we will need?
Hello Kathy,
Lhasa’s historical climate date shows that the temperature around the second week is 20°C (day) and 5°C (night), so big temperature difference between day and night, high UV index and fairly dry.
Get ready for sunglasses, hat, jacket and T shirt. If you visit some remote mountains and lake area, take your warm sweater or down jacket. Have a good time in Lhasa Tibet.
I really want to visit Base camp but I am concerned about the altitude sickness. Is it really severe and are some people hospitalized. This is such a dream but I’m afraid
