Smell the fragrance of West Lake Spring despite face masks. With Covid-19 virus under control, people in the city of Hangzhou are coming out for the fresh spring.
It was a fine day in Hangzhou yesterday. Hangzhou is my home town, about 3 hours’ drive south of Shanghai.
The West Lake is crowded with tourists, especially some sections of Nanshan Road are in traffic jam and parking lots are hard to find.
Most of the commercial outlets in the city have begun to open one after another.
The main street area is full of traffic, basically returning to the busy days of the past – previous to the breakout of covid-19 virus.
At noon, people line up to buy takeout food. When they line up, they keep 1 meter away from each other.
Buying take-out food at baozi shops or at Zhiweiguan Restaurant are very popular.
At present, there are not many restaurants opened. It is said that at present, the requirements for sit-down restaurants are very high, and most small catering enterprises that are not chain stores cannot meet the requirements set by the local government to brace for coronavirus.
I walked south along the West Lake from the lakeside park through Liulangwenying Park, and finally come to Changqiao Park to watch the sunset.
Walking in a loop for more than ten kilometers, watching, taking photos and enjoying the West Lake spring.
People wear masks, young and old. Although people are wearing a mask, it seems that the masks don’t damp people’s mood of going out to play.
I still smell the fragrance of West Lake Spring despite my face mask.
I still like to take photos of the integration of human beings and landscape, recording the West Lak spring of 2020 with the brand of “Novice Coronavirus”.
