4 Hour Beijing in a Nutshell Scooter City Tour
Tour Description
We improvise the e-kick scooter tour with you. This 4-hour e-scooter trip gives you an impression about the city, which enables you to decide where you want to spend more time during your stay in Beijing and learn a few travel tips from our knowlegeable insiders.
The Tour: Our 4-hour tour starts from the Big Smoke's street, close to the April Gourmet on Xingfucun Zhong Lu. After a brief training session to get you used to braking and, of course, accelerating, we're off towards the west to begin our tour in the hutongs.
We'll wind through the narrow lanes, observing old architecture and learning about Beijing's history, while experiencing first-hand today's hutong life. On our way, we'll nose around a hutong market for an opportunity to sample hutong snacks. Then we'll scoot past the Confucian Temple, down some of the more trendy hutongs, and loop past the Drum and Bell Towers and Houhai Lakes. We'll then backtrack, and along the route will stop for lunch and debrief.
Also in the bag: Lunch and drinks are included. Drink stop: In winter, to combat the cold weather, we've planned a hot mulled wine or a coffee stop along the route; in summer, a cold one will do!

We provide scooters, helmets, maps, and a short training session prior to the start of the tour. We also have some extra winter gear if needed.

Your tour will be led by an experienced western Insider Guide who has made Be.ing his/her home. (We speak English, French and Spanish.)
