We stayed at the Osmanthus for 4 nights in June 2006. The hotel is just within walking distance to the heart of the city, beside a river.Its river-view rooms have excellent views. The staff offered good service, but their Englsih was so so, anyhow no communication problem.We walked from hotel along the canal way to Elephant Hill. If you take a short cab ride, you can get almost all the local sites and many restaurants and shops neary. The hotel is very clean with reasonable prices.
