Xi'an Tangcheng Hotel :
We booked the hotel for our recent Beijing-Xian-Shanghai-Guilin trip. It is outside the city walls. The hotel has a very big and impressive lobby. We had a quick and easy check in. Most of the staff speak good English and are very helpful with smiles. There is also an open garden type lobby bar in the lobby. Just next to the lobby there are two restaurants and a smaller gift store. One of the two restaurants is "western style" with openning 24 hours per day. My tour package covers breakfast.Its buffet breakfast is rich in choice and the food is good. We also had dinner in the Chinese restaurant. We ordered some things on the menu in Chinese and had the food at the pirce of $30 USD totally for the four of us.
Our room had two nice beds and was in fact very comfortable. The air-condition went well, the bathroom amenities covered razors, cotton swabs, toothbrush and paste, and combs. Also we found two free bottles of mineral water each day! In a word, the Tangcheng Hotel is an ideal place for business and leisure travel.
