We stayed two nights at The Zhao An Hote on our tour of China: Beijing-Xian-Guilin-Shanghai. Its outer building apppeared impressive with the mirrored glass and angles. But its lobby was not big. Our checking in takes some time. We had to pay a key deposit.In some rooms, people enjoyed free high speed internet.
The restaurant on the 7th floor provided a good buffet breakfast wich was covered was in our package. Also we found the chef was making fresh omelettes for us during breakfast time. But you just have the choice of eggs, no fillings.
The shop on the ground floor of the hotel sells the gifts which inlude 2008 Beijing Olympics T-shirts!We bought some.
This is of course a cheap hotel, especially in Shanghai. As for the hotel price we feel the hotel is worth staying.But if you want to pay more, we suggest you chooe another hotel and stay away cheap travel.
