 Jinshancheng Chongqing in Zhongfu Mansion is one of Beijing's largest and most popular Sichuan restaurant. The restaurant is always crowed and very often people have to wail in line unless you arrive earler in the afternoon. When you do finally get seated, you might have the choice of ordering the laziji (chicken buried under a mound of hot peppers), ganbian sijidou (green beans), and mapou doufu (spicy tofu). All three are delicious, and even people unaccustomed to spicy food claim to love these dishes. The food is definitely the focus here -- don't expect much from s itdecor. Reservations not accepted.
