Stay at Golden River-view Hotel Shanghai or Shanghai Ocean Hotel Day 02:Shanghai/Hangzhou by train Morning tour of the 400-year-old Yu Yuan Garden which is typical of the very distinctive style of Chinese landscape garden. Then take a 2-hour afternoon train to Hangzhou-capital of Zhejiang Province., the "Paradise on Earth" where sightseeing focuses on the lovely gardens, lakes and landscape island. Stay at Cultural Plaza( B L ) Day 03:Hangzhou ( B L D ) Today's tours starts with a cruise on the scenic West Lake, the highlight in the city, followed by trip to Lingying Monastery and a Tea Production Village. Day 04:Hangzhou /Nanjing by train Depart for Hangzhoui by train. Nanjing was once the southern ancient capital city of China. Stay at Ramada Hotel( B L ) Day 05:Nanjing A full day excursion today includes Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, tomb of the Ming Emperor, Yangtze River Bridge and Zuanwu Lake. A cultural performance, if available, will be attended in the evening.( B L D ) Day 06:Nanjing /Zhengzhou by air + Kaifeng by coach Arrival in Zhrngzhou by air, met and transfered to Kaifeng.Visit the Dragon Pavilion and the 11th century Iron Pagoda which laid evidence to Kaifeng's claim to being one of the major centres of ancient Chinese civilization. Stay at Kaifeng Yuxiang Hotel( B L D ) Day 07:Kaifeng - Zhengzhou Shaoli Temple-Luoyang by coach.An hour ride takes you to Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan Province.. Then take 2 hours drive for Shaolin Temple ( B L ).Afternoon arrive in Luoyang. This afternoon, onward to the first Buddhist Monastery in China built in 68 A.D., the White Horse Temple. Day 09:Luoyang - Xi'an by train A six- hour train ride takes you to Xi'an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. In the afternoon, a city tour with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built in 652 A.D.Stay at Tangchen Hotel or Xian Hotel ( B L ) Day 10:Xi'an A full day visit includes the unparalleled highlight of an excursion to the incredible Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperror of unified China. Added highlights are visits to the Huaqing Hot Spring - a former resort area especially for the emperor and royal family and a visit to the Banpo Village - the remains of a neolithic village dating back 6,000 years. Primitive tools and household utensils are displayed in the Banpo Museum. Tonight enjoy Tang Dynasty Dinner & Show. ( B L D ) Day 11:Xi'an - Beijing by air Fly to Beijing, capital of China.visit the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon, the largest temple complex still remaining in China today. Stay at Qianmen Jianguo Hotel or same class. Day 12:Beijing Morning tour to Tian'anmen Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Forbidden City-one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. Afternoon sightseeing includes Summer Palace- a former summer resort area of the royal family, or a visit to the Temple of Heaven where the emperors prayed for good harvests. Enjoy the famous Beijing roast dinner in the evening. Day 13:Beijing Full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of manmade construction on earth visible from outer space. after lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Peking Opera or acrobatic performance will be attended in the evening.
