ABC of the Chinese Landscape Painting
Chinese painting is one of the oldest continuous artistic traditions in the world. Landscape painting is generally regarded as the highest form of Chinese painting. It is the depiction in art of landscapes – natural scenery such as mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests, especially where the main subject is a wide view –with its elements arranged into a coherent composition.
Learning Highlights
The class will be conducted in English. The supplies or the Four Treasures of the Study - the ink brush, ink, paper(made of rice & bamboo), and inkstone - are provided by us.
You don't necessarily have learnt Chinese painting before, just be enthusiastic and be willing to hold a brush.
Both beginners and higher level can enjoy and grasp the skills in the class.
