You can use these steps to develop your tea palate and appreciate the many nuances that quality teas have to offer. The basic steps include: Look at the tea leaves, Brew the Tea, Look at the Brew & Leaves, Smell the Brew & Leaves, Taste the Tea, Observe the Mouthfeel and Note the Aftertaste.
Learning Highlights
You will learn one of the six major categories of Chinese tea, and the difference of several varieties of the same tea. You will get tips on how to brew and drink it.
Then you will hear about the significance of the current season's "Jie Qi", two of the 24 solar terms in Chinese calendar and its relation to corresponding tea drinking and health. Finally, savour several varieties of the tea.
