Pick-up from your hotel at 8:00 am. It takes more than one hour's drive to reach Hancunhe village. It is a medium-sized village with a population of over 2,700. Hancunhe village is located in Fangshan District, the southwest of Beijing and about 50km away from downtown Beijing.
Once a poor village, Hancunhe has now become one of the nation's model villages. You can find such facilities like park, department store, hotel, swimming pool, cinema, travel agency, post office, hospital and education center. Beautiful flowers and trees are planted everywhere, making it like green garden. This is a modern Chinese village. It is well planned and organized. All the villagers's villa-type houses are in good order. It's also an ideal place to buy really fresh vegetables.
You will be arranged to visit a local family, talking and chatting with the hostess. Then visit the modern facilities in the village. The most intriguing activity is to visit the green house to see all the anti-season vegetables. You can buy some fresh vegetables if you like.
