This is a flexible circuit walk. If you are adventurous, you may take the trail that is a 3-hour loop hike. This walk is composed of two parts. One is from the starting point and walk up to the twin peak temples; the second part is from the twin peak temples up to the top and hike down to the starting point.
The drive from downtown Beijing to the starting point takes about 1 and half hours. Walk from the entrance and follow the path up through the village. You will pass by some temples and shrines before you are on the way up to the twin peak temples.
From the twin peak temples, you continue to walk through pine trees and follow the trail up to the big pavilion on the top with stunning views. From the big pavilion on the top, walk down the trail and pass by a smaller pavilion. Follow the trail, you will arrive at a dirt track. Keep straight ahead on this the dirt track for about 25 minutes, you will get to the entrance at the start. Lunch included. You are returned to your hotel downtown Beijing.
