Tour Description
Picked up from your downtown hotel in Beijing around 8:30am and transferred to Dragon Seal Wine Museum. Built by Dragon Seal Winery, this wine museum has two part – upper part and underground part. The upper part introduces its one hundred years' history of wine making and the underground part is the cellar and wine corridor. Its long history can be dated back to the year 1910 (The second year of Xuantong Emperor, Qing Dynasty), a French friar converted the HeishanhuChurch's graveyard into a wine cave at Fuwai of Beijing. Now Dragon Seal wine has become a renowned producer and the market leader.
After pre-arranged Chinese lunch, continue to visit Summer Palace. Summer Palace is one of China's largest imperial garden. Summer Palace was originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty. Its predecessor was the Garden of Clear Ripples (Qingyiyuan) started in 1750 and burned down by the British and French allied troops in 1860.
At the end of the whole day trip, you are transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
