We had good impression of the staff at the counter in the hotel. they were efficient and helpful with all smiles. They even agreed us to stay extra a few hours beyond our checkout time,so we could take a good rest before conneting the flight for our destination. The hotel lobby is big and impressive, but the rooms are just so so. The beds were very hard.Anyhow, our room had everything we expected: clean toilets, nice showers, well-doing air conditioning and the television that worked well. It was good to watch BBC world news and HBO. We had the western breakfast included our room package. They provide rich western buffet breakfast. To compare with other large Chinese cities, human services seems to be a little bit underdeveloped in Xian.It's not very commercial here.You see,there are not many restaurants, grocery shops in the area near the hotel. Restaurants seems to be clustered in the area near the drum tower area. By the way, the hotel has great massages available!!
