History: According to archaeological records, Guangxi includes a long-standing history, in which ancient people had been reproduced here since 700,000 years ago. Guangxi entered into the period of civilization approximately 3,000 years ago, and the region remains prosperous after administrative division was implemented within that region since Qin Dynasty. As the birth place in which arose a range of historic events in modern China, including Jintian Uprising, Zhennanguan Campaign, Baise Uprising, a great number of prominent generation of Zhuang Nationality were generated from there.
The uniqueness and gorgeousness of the native culture of Guangxi should attribute to the long-standing history. During Spring and Autumn Annals, the ancient people established paintings on the cliffs along the bank of Zuo River. In Han Dynasty, there was bronze drum which sounds solemn and elegant, as well as fences that were humidity-proof and beast-proof, vividly represented the culture of Guangxi at that time. Zhenwu Pavilion, established in Ming Dynasty, and Fengyu Bridge are also of significant artistic value.
Guangxi Province has long been referred to as the "the Kingdom of Songs", which consists of Sanyuesan Songs party of Zhuang Nationality, Danv Festival of Yao Nationality, Zoupo Festival of Mulam Nationality, as well as "Dayoucha" of Dong Nationality. In addition, Guangxi Province is also embraced by a wide range of folk art, including Guangxi Opera, Drama of Zhuang Nationality, Guangdong Opera, Yong Opera and so forth. In general, Guilin Culture, Gulf Marine Culture and Hongshuihe Culture contribute to the multi-cultural communication within Guangxi Province.
Climate: Guangxi is located in the lower latitude region in which the weather is characterized by subtropical and monsoon feature. The average high temperature is 33.7-42.5 ℃(92.66-108.5℉), whereas the average low temperature is about -8.4-2.9℃. Most of the region in Guangxi Province is dominated by warm weather, added by ample heat concentrated in summer, with season no obvious seasonal trend. Guangxi is also a region abundant in precipitation, with most of the portion receiving an average precipitation of 1500-2000 mm annually, hence the region is proper for cultivation any time of a year.

Railways- Line Hengyang (Hunan Province)- Pingxiang(Guangxi Province) is the most crucial railway within Guangxi Province, which connected Jingguang Raillines to the east, intersected Vietnam line to the west, besides, Line Nanning-Kunmin, Line Nanjing- Fangcheng, Line Qinzhou-Beihai composite the access to the sea.
Highways- It is estimated that by the end of 2010, the overall mileage of highways in Guangxi was up to 101,782 kilometers, among which Highway occupied 2574 kilometers, first-level road 876kilometers, second-level 8646 kilometers.
