Congjiang Travel Guide
Location: Congjinag County is in the southeast of Guizhou Province, bordered on the Guangxi Province.History: Congjiang has a long history dating back to Yuan Dynasty. For years, it had been changing the name. Until 1941, it benamed Congjiang adopted one word from Yongcong and Xiajiang.
Transportation: After the effort of 30 years, the transportation in Congjiang made great improvement. There are 35 newly rebuilt road and the waterway has reached 209 kilometers long.

Dining: Some small restaurants along the street opposite the bus station serve delicious food but having no menu, all raw vegetables/meat are in vessels open for choice. "Cheng Lao Nai" (Grandma Chen)'s is the most favorite one by locals and travelers.
Congjiang spiced pig is made from a kind of pig which never grows big and mainly eats the weeds in the mountain. Its flesh is naturally savory. It is said that this kind of pig is raised only in Congjiang. Don't miss out!
Attractions: Biasha Miao Village
Biasha Miao Village- Some 4,000 years ago, Chiyou, the ancestor of the Miao minority, was defeated in a battle, so he led his army to the west of China, with one detachment of the army staying in Basha.
This Biasha Miao is quite different from other Miao groups in terms of clothing and daily life. Biasha people belong to the Miao branch that is least affected by modern civilization. Even in the modern times, they still lead very traditional.
