History: As early as 50,000 years ago, the hominid named "Jiande" had been living in the western mountainous area of Zhejiang. Then, the Xiaoshan Kuahuqiao Relic, the Yuyao Hemudu Relic and the Jiaxing South Lake Majiabin Relic are the three earliest cultures of the neolithic age about 7,000-8,000 years ago. And later, the human activity trace is followed by the Jiaxing Songze Relic (about 6,000years ago) and the Hangzhou Liangzhu Relic(about 5,000 years ago).
Zhejiang was a favorite place of the emperors to build their seats of power during the feudal period. It was witnessed the rise and fall of many dynasties. Throughout history, Zhejiang has been given a lot of names, however, the shape of Zhejiang Province was fixed in its present form in the years from 1661 to 1722.
Climate: Zhejiang enjoys a sub-tropical monsoonal climate, warm, humid and rainy. The annual average temperature is about 18℃ with an average July temperature of 27℃-30℃ and an average January temperature of 2℃-8℃. It has a mean annual precipitation of 1,100-1,900mm and the mean annual sunshine time is 1710 hours to 2100 hours.

Highway- There are abundant expressways across the province connect Zhejiang to neighboring cities and provinces. Starting from Xinhuang of Shanghai City in the north and ends an Pengbu of Hangzhou City in the south, it is the major route: Shanghai-Hangzhou, which has total length of 151 Km.
Waterway- The busiest golden triangle of marine passenger transportation in China is the route of Ningbo with the Zhoushan Islands and Shanghai City. There are many passenger liners connecting them. You can have a different fell if you choose this route to have your travel.
