Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Lijiang
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a national –level scenic area, is located 15 kilometers north of the county sea of Lijiang. It is a snow-capped mountain and the southernmost mountain with snow capped all year round in the Northern Hemisphere.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is composed of 12 peaks including the summit with its height being 5,596 meters, and its mountain top is covered with snow all year round and looks like a silver dragon flying swiftly upward to the blue vault of heaven perpetually, hence its name “Jade Dragon Mountain”.
