Pu Zhao Temple on Mt. Tai, Shandong
Pu Zhao Temple is located at the foot of Han Peak, meaning “the light of Buddha illuminate all things”. It is a set of well preserved integrated architecture containing four courtyards. The east courtyard is quiet, while the west one screens from thousands of green bamboo. Drum and Bell Towers stand facing each other in the front courtyard. The middle courtyard list in turn Mountain Gate, Grand Palace (Da Xiong Bao Dian) Mo Song Builing, etc. General Feng Yuxing once lived here , and his tomb is in the west. In Mo Song Building together with its two sides buildings show the story of General Feng Yuxiang. In the back courtyard has the famous “Six Dynasties pinaster”. The branch is thick, grotesque in shape. Above it there is a special Pinaster Watching Building.
Pu Zhao Temple is the only temple receiving the shamen from all directions, attracting a large number of tourists to admire or pray for good luck.
