| Excellent hotel value in Taian. I stayed at the hotel as part of the China Focus tour group and found the hotel to be very nice. The staff were very helpful, especailly the young man and young woman in the business center and the bell persons. The location is not close to downtown--you could not walk. However, it is only a few Yuan to take a taxi downtown. And the downtown area is very pleasant, and the farmers market is worth the trip. If you stay in Taian, by all means go to the farmers market. |

| We stayed here Feb. 27-28 as part of a China Focus tour of China. After three nights at the Harbor Hotel in Shanghai, which has very small rooms, and an overnight train ride to reach Tai'an, this hotel was exactly what we needed -- modern, well-furnished and comfortable rooms, a superb Western breakfast buffet, and a friendly staff We also found the city of Tai'an to be comfortable and inviting. |
