Shanghai Zuibaichi Park
As one of Shanghai famous five big classical botanical gardens, Zuibaichi Park is located in south of the People Road. First constructed in 1644, the park is the place for Ming Dynasty painter Dong Qichang to write poesy and celebrities to tour. In 1650, Shunzhi Seven years of Qing Dynasty, the Chancellor-Gu Dashen reconstructed the park. Because he extremely admires that Bai Juyi, a famous poet in Tang Dynasty, the park was named Zuibaichi Park.
With an area of 600 square meters, the park is still maintaining the style of garden in Ming and Qing Dynasty including the hall, the porch, the pavilion, the boat and so on. Taken a pool of water as a core, the three sides of the pool are the porch and booth. Whether it is rainy or sunny, you can lean on the handrail to enjoy the scene.
