Tips for Shanghai Day Tours
1. We offer complimentary pick up service from your hotel located in the downtown Shanghai.2. On the evening before your departure early next morning for your day tour, you will get a call or message from your tour guide to fix up your next morning's pickup time.
3. It's a busy day with much walking. So be sure to wear comfortable shoes and have a good sleep the day before.
4. The traffic in Shanghai is very bad sometimes. So we would like to have your patience if our driver and tour guide are a little bit later than the pre-arranged pick-up time due to traffic jam.
5. We offer Chinese lunch. Usually the tourist meals have a bad name. But we try our best to improve the quality of the lunch on the tour.
6. If you have booked a group day tour, you are kindly requested to have patience in waiting for all the participants to be on the seat-in coach before starting your group tour.

1. How to Visit the BundThe Bund is a one-km long strip starting from the eastern tip of Yan'an Road on the south and Waibaidu Bridge on the north. It is a raised promenade on the western bank of Huangpu River in Shanghai.
It runs from north to south paralleling Zhongshan East No. 1 Road flanked by the 22 heritage art deco buildings built during the concession era in 1920s and 1930s. Across the river stands the skyline of the futuristic skyscrapers, a sharp contrast with the old buildings by the Bund.
2. How to Visit Nanjing Road
Champs-élysées to Paris and Oxford street in London are what Nanjing Road to Shanghai. Nanjing Road, billed as "China's First Commercial Street", is the most well known shopping and leisure street in Shanghai.
The east-west Nanjing Road is generally sectioned into Nanjing East Road and Nanjing West Road. Nanjing East Road is now a traffic-free street, leading up to the Bund on its east.
3. How to Visit People's Square
Plan your Shanghai? Basically you should include People's Square on your Shanghai's first-time visit list. People's Square is the soul of Shanghai, both physically and spiritually.
Originally the largest in Asia before 1949, now it has become the largest, chic and modern square in Shanghai after over 60 years' development.
4. How to Visit Lujiazui in Pudong
Lujiazui is the core of Pudong, the new trade and financial development area on the east bank of Huangpu River, just opposite the Bund, the old financial center on the western bank of Huangpu River.
Lujiazui is rife with the futuristic, avant-garde buildings – Shanghai Tower (632 m), Shanghai World Financial Center (492 m ), Oriental Pearl Tower (467.9 m), Jin Mao Building (421 m) and other over 30 buildings with 25 stories. Over 500 domestic and overseas financial and insurance corporations are located in Lujiazui.
5. How to Visit Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar
Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar has lots of different names – Old Town, Old Shanghai, City God Temple, Yu Yuan Garden and Yuyua Bazaar and the list could be longer.
This place is part of the remaining old walled city of the old Shanghai. The bazaar surrounds the beautiful Yuyuan Garden and a plethora of narrow alleys radiate from the bazaar, a touristy, but a place full of life attracting a consistent flow of tourists each day.
6. How to Visit Xintiandi
Shanghai Xintiandi (上海新天地) is a place you shouldn't miss. "Xintiandi" literally means "New Heaven and Earth" which refers to an international standard mall based on the former cluster of Shikumen buildings in the center of Shanghai.
The Shikumen buildings were built in 1860s with a blend of Chinese and western style architectures. The western style of brick door frames, roofs and walls go harmoniously with the inside structures of Chinese traditional houses in the Yangtze Delta Area.
7. How to Visit Tianzifang
Tianzifang (田子坊) must be included on your Shanghai travel plan. Tianzifang is an art, craft and Shikumen (stone-door-frame houses) enclave developed from an old residential area of the former French concession, a shikumen residential built in 1930s in Shanghai.
In 1980s artists, designers and vendors began to set up their studios, art galleries, craft stores, design house, cafes, bars, and restaurants a kind of creative industry precinct in an old residential area of Shanghai.
8. How to Visit Zhujiajiao Water Town
If you don't have enough time to visit Zhouzhuang Water Town and Tongli Water Town that are a bit far from Shanghai, Zhujiajiao Water Town is a good substitiute to immerse yourself in an old town with a history of over 1700 years. Zhujiajiao Town was a trading hub for the surrounding countryside.
Its buildings can date back to the Ming and Qing dynasties ( 1368-1911). In the past, goods and people were carried by small boats on the narrow canals from house to house, passing under numerous ancient stone bridges. Some of the canals and stone bridges are still used by the local people and tourists as well.
9. Huangpu River Cruise Ticket Booking
