Shijinglong Ski Resort
Brief Introduction
Open to the public in 1999, Shijinglong Ski Resort (石京龙滑雪场) is the first ski resort ever built around Beijing. Though its glamor has been fading with a dozen of ski resorts sprung up in the past 10 years, Shijinglong Ski Resort still keeps a decent position in Beijing's ski resort circle, loved and frequented by its loyal skiers. Shijinglong Ski Resort is one of the most beautiful ski resorts around Beijing. It is perched on the south slopes of Daqingshan Mountain with Longqing Gorge at its east, Guanting Reservoir at its west and Badaling Great Wall at its south. It is located in the administrative area of Yanqing County, about 80km north of Beijing city center.
Shijinglong Ski Resort boasts its south ski slopes seldom seen around Beijing. Skiers can face the sunshine while skiling down the slopes. This ski resort is mainly targeted at young skiers, holidaymakers and international tourists since it is situated on the golden tourist route in Beijing covering the nearby attractions such as Longqing Gorge, Badaling Great Wall, Juyongguan Great Wall, Ming Tombs.

Information Center & Ticket Offices
The two wooden houses by the entrance are used as Information Center and Ticket Offices. You would first purchase your entrance ticket and then choose ski options fot your skiing at Shijinglong Ski Resort. The south of the bridge is the ski resort' parking lot for private vehicles. Ski Equipment Rental Service Building
Walk up a few steps and you will see two large buildings on your both sides. The building on the right side is Ski Equipment Rental Service Building where you rent your skis, snowboard, ski clothes, ski boots and a closet to store your personal belongings. Ski Trails
At present, there are totally 6 ski trails including one advanced trail, two intermediate trails and 3 beginners. The advanced ski trail is 1000m long with a drop of 300m. Ski Area Transportation
Shijinglong Ski Resort is equipped with two chair lifts and 5 drag lifts to transfer skiers to the ski trails of different levels.  The two chair lifts to move skiers to the advanced ski trail. |

Ski School
Shijinglong Ski Resort outsources its ski teaching program to a professional ski school called "Rossignol". They offer both standard and tailor-made ski teaching programs. Non-Skiers
For kid or adult non-skiers, just buy an entrance ticket and see or participate the snow activities in the ice and snow paradise of the ski resort or enjoy the view of the ski area over your coffee or tea at the snack restaurant. Transportation
Public BusTake No.919 Express bus at Deshengmen Bus Terminal and get off at Yanqing Building Materials City (延庆建材城）in Yanqing， then change Bus 920 and get to Shijinglong Ski Resort (500m walking from the bus stop)
S Trains: First take S Train from Dongzhimen (Beijing East Railway Station) to Yanqing, then get on the Bus 920 and get to Shijinglong Ski Resort (500m walking from the bus stop).
Self-Driving
Drive along the Badaling Expressway and exit from Exit 60 (Yanqing Exit), continue to drive to drive and take on National Highway No.110, then follow the sign pointing to Shijinglong Ski Resort.
