Nanshan Ski Resort
Brief Introduction
Nanshan Ski Resort (南山滑雪场）is also officially known as Nanshan Ski Village . "Nanshan" literally means "South Mountain" as the ski resort is perched on the northern slope of a mountain called Nanshan (South Mountain). It is located in Miyun County, about 80km in the northeast of Beijing. Nanshan Ski Resort boasts one of the largest and most beautiful ski resorts around Beijing. The drive route from down Beijing to Nanshan Ski Village is scattered with some interesting sights including Chunhuiyuan Hotspring Resort, Mutianyu Great Wall, Chateau Changyu AFIP Global Beijing and Yunmengshan Great Wall and Jinshanling Great Wall.
Nanshan Ski Village is mainly targeted at the young and middle class skiers.

Information Center & Ticket Offices
By the left side of the entrance to the Nanshan Ski Village, you will find the Information Center where inquiry about the ski resort itself. Surely, you would study the map of Nanshan Ski Village to better understand its trails and other faccilities like cafe, restaurants and lodging. Check the Map of Nanshan Ski Village for more information. On the left side of the entry gate is the ticket office where you should first buy your entry ticket. Entering the gate, walk along a pathway lined with ski equipment stores and on your left side, you will see the ticket office selling ski tickets both for individual and groups.

Ski Trails

Ski School
Nanshan Ski & Snowboard Ski School is located inside the Nanshan Ski Service Center (Ski Rental Building). The ski school has over 100 licensed instructors who offer customized ski progrmas. For kids and non-skiers, Beijing Nanshan Ski Resort (Nanshan Ski Village) has much to offer including snow tubes, sledding, Children's snowmobiles. It also has a DIY children's playground. Children's snowmobiles and Children's playground. |
Cafe and Restaurants
Nanshan Ski Resort has a rich varity of beverage and food. The Nanshan Alps Coffee Corner adjacent to the east side of the Ski Service Building offers coffee and cakes and free internet service. The coffee shop has also the sundeck and good view of the ski area. The Terrace Restaurant & Pub sits on a terrace over the Mellow Park provides drinks, piza, Italian noodle and salad. Next to Terrace Restaurant & Pub, the Nanshan Restaurant offers self-service meals. The Nanshan Chalet Plaza offers Chinese flavor snacks and authentic Northeast chinese cuisine.

Ski Resorts Lodging Options
Nanshan Ski Resort also provide some lodging for skiers who would like to stay overnight at the ski resort. At present Nanshan Ski Resort has the Shirton Inn with three buildings housing 30 rooms overlooking the Rimbaud pond. Most of the rooms have ski area views. Non-Skiers
For kid or adult non-skiers, just buy an entrance ticket and see or participate the snow activities in the ski resort or enjoy the surrounding snow view over your coffee or tea at the cafe or snack restaurants. Transportation
Public BusTake No.980 bus at Dongzhimen Bus Terminal and get off at West Bridge in Miyun. Then take a local taxi to Nanshan Ski village (approx.RMB20/per car)
Ski Shuttle Coach
Shuttle coaches depart at 8:30am from two stops （Sanyuan Bridge 三元桥 and Wudaokou Subway 五道口地铁站）.Return fares： RMB 40 per person.
