Hangzhou Tea Plantation
April 12, 2008. Today's lunch was arranged at Wushan Minlou Restaurant. It was a super deluxe restaurant, located below Chenghuang Pavilion.After lunch, we drove to Tea Plantation at Meijiawu Village. Hangzhou is famous for its green tea - Dragon Well Tea. Hangzhou is also called a city of tea.
Meijiawu Tea Plantation is the most ideal place to visit if you are interested in the tea culture in Hangzhou. It provides a wonderful rural scenery and peaceful atmosphere. It is possible to climb the hill and mix with the dense tea trees on the terrace and see how local people picking tea.
