Wuyishan Huaxia Folk City and Wuyi Opera House
Wuyishan Wuyi Opera House is at present one of the most luxurious and with most complete facilities opera houses in Fujian Province. This house can accept above 800 persons and has become the necessary tourists site at night.
Shows of Wuyi Opera House include Minyuezu, Hongpao Cha Ge, Fanzhou Jiuqu, Xianyutan, Dawang Yunnv, Minyueguo. Minyuezu shows the prevailed age-old customs of Minyue race-“hair cutting”, “tattoo” and “Wenmian”, etc..
For examples, people of Minyue race make snake grains on body to show their respect towards snake totem. In the show of Hongpao Cha Ge, Hongpao refers to a sort of famous tea in Wuyishan, named Dahongpao. And Hongpao Cha Ge is the sing and dance of Dahongpao tea. Fanzhou Jiuqu: every tourist to Wuyishan will go boating on Jiuquxi Stream.
Fanzhou Jiuqu is the reappearance of happy boating on Jiuquxi Stream. Xianyutan tells a story of seven fairies gamboling and bathing in a Xianyutan Pool, because of loving beautiful Wuyishan landscape. Dawang Yunv deducts a romantic love story between fairyland and human world.
