Tour Description
Pick up from your hotel in Xian in the morning. First visit the Qin Shi Huang's tomb, the unopened Qin Shi Huang's tomb (the first emperor's tomb), the largest underground royal tomb in the world. There is evidence suggesting that Qin Shi Huang's Tomb remains relatively intact. Qin Shi Huang (259 BC - 210 BC), the first emperor of China, ascended the throne at the age of 13, when construction of his tomb began. He ordered 720,000 conscript laborers to to build his royal tomb. It was completed just-in-time in 210 BC for his use. The tomb is located just 1.5km west of the site of Terracotta Warriors.
Then move on to the Terracotta Warriors. The original site was found by four local farmers drilling a well in 1974. Now it has turned into the most important attraction in Xian - Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum. It is located about 30 km east of the Xian City.
The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3 as well the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. The Pit 1 is the largest of the three. The museum and the mausoleum are listed the world's cultural legacies as the UNESCO.
2.The movie -360 degrees, the background film, is in English and very cool, which takes about 15 minutes long. It gives some background to what you see with your own eyes. It is worth the 15 minutes. The film ticket is included in your entrance fee.
3. It takes 5-10 minutes walking from the ticketing office to the entrance gate. If you pay RMB 5, you take a small tram ride to the entrance gate.
4. The Terracotta Warriors Museum is open all year round – 365 days every year!
5. The entrance to Qin Shihuang' Mausoleum is also included in your ticket for Terracotta Army Museum.
6. Children under the height of 1.2m don't have to pay.

After Chinese lunch, drive back to the city center of Xian and visit Xian City Wall. The Xian city wall is the most complete city wall that has survived in China as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. It was enlarged in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) from the city wall initially built in Tang Dynasty (618 -907).
Now it is 12 meters tall, 12-14 meters wide covering 14 kilometers in length with a deep moat surrounding it. Its south gate is the most largest with a suspension bridge. Most of the tourists choose the south gate for sightseeing.
1.Opening Hour: 08:00 – 20:00.
2. The top surface of the wall is a wonderful promenade. Walking all the way around the wall takes about 2 – 3 hours.
3. There are plenty of bikes, single and tandem, that can save a lot of time. You can rent a single bike at 45 RMB or a tandem at 90 RMB for 2 hours.
4. You can take a battery buggy driven around the entire perimeter. For an ordinary buggy for one circle, you need to pay RMB 80 or 120 for a luxury buggy.
5. Use the toilets at the entrance, and there are no restrooms once you get onto the surface.
6. There are small shops on the surface of the wall for drinks, some refreshments or small souvenirs
After Xian City Wall, continue to visit Xian Muslim Quarter. For the tourists coming here, the bazaar in the Muslim area is most attractive with a wide area of stalls selling everything. The streets and walkways are full of life. The shopping is great, some unusual items you will seldom see anywhere else in China.
2. Put on comfortable walking shoes, take your camera and some money.
3. The food is cheap and most things between 5 yuan and 15 yuan.
4. The food streets come alive around 9:00 am each day till mid-night.
5. A good place for people watch, mixing with the locals and visitors alike. Day in day out, night in night out millions of people flood the Muslim Quarter each year.
6. Beside eateries, the food streets also offer a couple of souvenirs stalls selling typical local products like tiger-head shoes, and don't forget to bargain!
7. Don't be worried about hygiene, the street sweepers and garbage collectors work hard to constantly keep the whole area clean.
8. Try a bite of some of the local food: the famous Xi'an Liangpi (cold skin noodles) , the lamb skewers, the cuttlefish, the yogurt, pomegranate juice and the list could be much longer.
9. If you don't like the local street vendors, you can go to the nearby Starbucks, McDonald's, or KFC in the square.

There are totally 18 gates to the present city wall of Xian, only the four major gates are open to the public, namely South Gate, West Gate, North Gate and East Gate.
