Tips for Xian Day Tours
1. We offer complimentary pick up service from your hotel located in the downtown Xian.2. On the evening before your departure early next morning for your day tour, you will get a call or message from your tour guide to fix up your next morning's pickup time.
3. It's a busy day with much walking. So be sure to wear comfortable shoes and have a good sleep the day before.
4. The traffic in Xian is very bad sometimes. So we would like to have your patience if our driver and tour guide are a little bit later than the pre-arranged pick-up time due to traffic jam.
5. We offer Chinese lunch. Usually the tourist meals have a bad name. But we try our best to improve the quality of the lunch on the tour.
6. If you have booked a group day tour, you are kindly requested to have patience in waiting for all the participants to be on the seat-in coach before starting your group tour.

These vivid over 2000-year-old soldiers of Terracotta Army were discovered March 24, 1974 by a group of local farmers when they were digging a well. Xian City Wall was initially built in Tang Dynasty (618 -907), based on which, the existing wall was rebuilt in Ming Dynasty during the period between 1374 and 1378. Now the remaining Xian City Wall is 12 meters tall, 18 meters wide at the base, 12-14 meters wide on the top with a perimeter of 13.74 km in length and a deep moat surrounding it.

The Muslim Community is known as Muslim Quarter in Xian or colloquially called "Huifang (回坊)" in Chinese. It is said there are over 300 Muslim local snacks on the streets in Xian Muslim Quarter that attract a consistent flow of visitors everyday coming here to savor or just have a glimpse. These back streets are full of life with a rich strong feel of Islamic cultural vibe.
4. How to Visit Shaanxi Provincial History Museum
A 2-3 hour visit to Shaanxi Provincial History Museum is a good starter for your eye-popping glimpse of the Terracotta Army. A free entry ticket allows you to visit the three permanent exhibition halls (No.01 – No.03 ), which display the artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi Province.
5. How to Visit Bell Tower
Each ancient city in China used to have a bell tower and a drum tower, telling the citizens the upcoming alerts and the time. The 36-meter high Xian Bell Tower is the largest and most well-preserved bell tower in China today.
6. How to Visit Hanyang Tombs Xian
When you are planning your Xian tour, your focus will be definitely on Terracotta Warriors Museum. But the other equally interesting and important subterranean archaeological museum may slip under your radar, namely, Hanyang Tombs (Hanyangling), the Tomb of Tomb of Emperor Jingdi Jindi (188BC—141BC), the fourth emperor of Han Dynasty (206 B.C.–220 A.D.) which follows Qin Dynasty ( 221–206 BC).
7. How to Visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located inside Daci'en Temple, a holy place in the middle of a vibrant and modern growing city of Xian. It is a good place to learn about the influence of China's Buddhism and culture. It is an active Buddhist temple with monks chanting, working and living. Local Chinese visit the place to worship and burn joss sticks.
8. How to Visit Huaqing Hot Springs in Xian
Well, "hot spring" is really a misnomer in this case. Generally speaking Huaqing Hot Springs refer to a huge park sitting below the northern slope of Lishan Mountain, 32km east of Xian Bell Tower, and 8 km west of Terracotta Warriors Museum.
The park is rebuilt on the royal palace in Tang Dynasty ( 618 -907 ), which mainly comprises the royal gardens and the royal hot springs. The royal hot springs are an excavated site, kept original, an artefact without actual springs running and housed in a museum in the park.

Mt.Huashan, or Mount Hua is one of the five sacred mountains in China. The other four are Taishan in Shandong, Songshan in Henan, Hengshan in Shanxi and Hengshan in Hunan. Don't be confused with Huangshan or Yellow Mountain, another world famous mountain in China.
