Guangzhou Day Trip to Foshan

Tour Description
Pick up from your hotel in Guangzhou, drive to Foshan city by ca or coach ( about 1 hour by drive ). Visit the Ancestral Temple. It was the first leading temple in Foshan and enjoyed so long a history that no other temples in the area can rival it. For a long time after the founding, the building functioned as the venue for the gentry to discuss local affairs. Today, Foshan Ancestral Temple is under provincial protection and under the care and guidance of Foshan City Museum.
Later visit Nanfeng Ancient Kiln. Its history can be traced back five hundred years, to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is amazing that this ancient kiln still works. Visitors can enjoy an ever fascinating experience to make pottery by their own in this fascinating national treasure.
After lunch, visit the folk art institute - Foshan Folk Art Institute. To appreciate the beautiful folk arts and crafts, like paper cutting, porcelain and so on. At the end of the tour, drive back to Guangzhou( about 1 hr )
