Xining - Qinghai Lake 200km Stay at Qinghai Lake
Visit
Ta'er Monastery (Kumbum Monastery) in the town of Huangzhong 26km south of Xining, where is the birthplace of the founder of the Gelugpa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism - Tsongkhapa. The temple was later built in 1577. Then drive to Qinghai Lake. On the way, you will have a stop to see the
Mt. Sun and Moon, where the princess Wenchen threw the mirror down and married into the Tibetan area among the Tang Dynasty. Sightseeing at Qinghai Lake.
Day 04
Chaka Twon - Golmud 520km Stay at Golmud
Visit
Chaka Salt Lake which lies near Chaka Town, Wulan County, Qinghai, in the eastern part of the Caidamu Basin. The scenery there is amazing. Chaka Salt Lake is not only famous for producing Qinghai salt, but also for the unique landscapes in the area. is salt everywhere: on one's feet, on the hills and rocks around the lake, on the beach, everywhere one looks, even the air smells of salt.

Golmud - Tuotuo River 453km Stay at Tuotuo River
Pass through
Kunlun Pass, the glaciers of Jade Peak and The First Yangtze Bridge and more to see in Kunlun Mountain Scenic Belt.
Day 06
Tuotuo River - Naqu 382km Stay at Naqu
Explore the headwaters of Yangtze River and Yellow River -
Tuotuo River. The Tuotuo River is the source of the Yangtze River which originates from the glaciers of the Jianggendiru Snow Mountains located at the southwestern side of the highest Geladandong Peak in the Tanggula Mountain Range. The altitude of the end of the glaciers is nearly 5,500 meters.
There are many huge snow mountains, including 20 snow-covered peaks whose altitudes are more than 6,000 meters. The permanent snow line is up to 5,800 meters, and there are 40 modern glaciers on those peaks.
Day 07
Naqu - Lhasa 420km Stay at Lhasa
Drive 420km starting from Naqu and get to Lhasa. Stay overnight in Lhasa.

The Potala Palace: Potala Palace is perched on the 130m-high Marpo Ri ( Red Hill ) with 13 storeys and more than 1000roms in the middle of Beijing Road, the heart of Lhasa City. It was once the winter residence of the Dalai Lama.
The Jokhang Temple: The 1300-year-old Jokhang Temple is now the spiritual center of Tibet. From earliest dawn to last light, daily worshippers and once-in-a-lifetime pilgrims make the inner circumambulation (kora) of the Jokhang to earn religious merit.
Barkhor Street: The Barkhor is the oldest street in Lhasa as well as the center of old Lhasa and remains very traditional. It is a place where Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts are assembled.
